Project Manager/Engineer for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operations
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Engineer to join our CAPEX Projects Team on a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Full lifecycle management of projects, from initiation to closeout.
* Undertaking front-end studies with users to define technical solutions, develop business cases, budgets, and schedules for CAPEX approval.
* Managing the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and qualification stages of projects.
* Leading cross-functional client project teams.
* Managing project schedules and costs, with regular reporting to stakeholders.
* Handling project changes, ensuring proper documentation and assessment.
* Promoting a strong safety culture during capital project execution.
* Overseeing project validation activities.
Requirements
* Degree qualified in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
* At least 8-10 years of project management/engineering experience across the project lifecycle in a pharmaceutical setting.
* Proven experience in client-side capital project execution.
* Experience with client electronic change management systems and end-to-end project lifecycles.
* Track record of managing cross-functional teams and projects within a GMP manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Strong understanding of cGMP principles.
* Familiarity with all stages of project management: programming, scope development, design, implementation, and closure.
