Financial Reporting (6-month Contract)Location:Dublin city centre - HybridContract:6 months,high likelihood of extensionStart:Jan 2026OverviewA leading financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Financial Reporting function on a contract basis. The role focuses on preparing, reviewing and presenting financial statements for a portfolio of investment funds, ensuring regulatory and accounting compliance. Experience in Funds is vital.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review financial statements for investment funds.Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and relevant regulatory standards.Monitor accounting and disclosure changes and implement process updates.Plan and manage production of financial statements for assigned funds.Review and sign-off draft reports, accounts files and associated calculations.Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet deliverables.Provide regular management information and reports.Represent the department on ad-hoc projects and initiatives.Present fund reports to Boards to support governance and communication.Skills & Experience Required5+ years' experience in a fund administrator or Big 4 environment with exposure to investment funds.Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and investment fund structures (alternative funds, private equity, hedge funds etc.).Experience using financial reporting platforms such as Confluence Unity or DFIN Arc Reporting (beneficial).Excellent time management, strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Professional accounting qualification preferred.What's on offer6-month contract with high likelihood of extensionHybrid structure with strong onsite collaborationOpportunity to present to Boards and be involved in process improvementsExposure to alternative and private equity fund structures within a leading organisation
