On behalf of our clients in the public health sector, we are currently recruiting social workers for support-focused roles within community-based services.
The successful candidates will work as part of a dedicated team supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals, develop life skills, and engage in meaningful activities that promote independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Support individuals in their day-to-day activities and personal development.
Encourage participation in group, recreational, and community-based activities.
Assist with the implementation of individual support plans.
Provide practical, emotional, and social support as required.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Promote independence, inclusion, and positive outcomes for service users.
Work in accordance with organisational policies, procedures, and relevant standards.
Requirements
Relevant qualification in social care or a related field
Previous experience in a social care setting is essential
Experience in day service or similar social care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in social care

Salary will be in line with the current Department of Health pay scale.
