Role: SAP FICO Consultant Location: Dublin, Ireland Is it Permanent/ Contract: Contract – 1year extendible Salary Budget: Best reasonable market rate Is it Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with a strong specialization in SAP Controlling (CO) to support management accounting, financial planning, and reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise in Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and period-end close activities, while working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver effective SAP CO solutions.
Key Responsibilities Configure, support, and enhance SAP Controlling (CO) modules with a strong focus on management accounting and reporting.
Lead and support Cost Center Accounting (CCA) and Profit Center Accounting (PCA) processes.
Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities within SAP CO.
Manage and execute period-end closing processes, including settlement, assessment, and distribution cycles.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP CO solutions.
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Provide functional support for SAP CO-related incidents, change requests, and enhancements.
Prepare functional documentation, configuration specifications, and test scripts.
Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Promote best practices and continuous improvement across SAP FICO processes.
Required Skills Experience Strong hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, with deep expertise in SAP Controlling (CO).
Proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and financial planning.
Demonstrated experience in period-end processes such as settlement, assessment, and distribution.
Solid understanding of end-to-end financial processes within SAP.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and collaborative environment.
Nice to Have Good knowledge of the financial aspects of SAP Project Systems (PS).
Experience working in large or complex SAP landscapes.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance.
