Senior Construction Project Manager
At Team Horizon, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team in Cork city. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation of comprehensive project briefs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and overseeing the implementation of projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the preparation of comprehensive project briefs in consultation with organisational service personnel and advisors
• Ensure that the project brief is known and understood by all stakeholders
• Manage necessary consultation processes, meetings, and activities for satisfactory project completion
• Comply with all regulatory requirements, including permissions, licences, certificates, and approvals
• Act as senior administrative officer for project management and issue resolution
• Define requirements for design services, buildings, and equipment
• Advise on the selection of design teams, other professional services, and contractors for projects
• Arrange and manage procurement processes
• Prepare specifications, drawings, and contract documents for projects
• Obtain approval for proposals in accordance with organisation protocols and regulations
Requirements:
• Hold a Level 8 (or higher) Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI) major academic award in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying accredited by the relevant Professional Institute
• Full Membership of the relevant professional association: Society of Chartered Surveyors in Ireland, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Engineers Ireland, or Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland
• At least seven years satisfactory and relevant experience in planning, design, project management, or construction of buildings, or installation/maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and heating services
