We are recruiting for a Compliance Support Specialist to join our small professional Group Compliance team.
The ideal candidate could be recently graduated or have 1 plus years' experience in financial services.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop their career in Compliance, along with the support for completing the Professional Diploma in Compliance through the Compliance Institute or similar relevant programmes.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Group Compliance, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of the Group's Compliance Framework.
This is an ideal opportunity for a self-driven individual who aspires to a career in an oversight function.
The successful candidate must have strong organisation skills, be an effective communicator with good written and oral communication skills.
Key accountabilitiesThe successful candidate will:
Support the senior manager, group compliance by taking day-to-day responsibility for maintaining various regulatory registers.As required assist with the preparation of the Chief Compliance Officer reports for Senior Management, for the Board and for the Lifeco Chief Executive Officer.Assist with compliance monitoring activity in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan.Assist with the review of compliance related frameworks and with the preparation of related compliance procedures.Provide compliance support to Business operations, assisting them in meeting their responsibilitiesBuild effective business relationships with business and compliance function management and staff.Assist with the implementation and maintenance of compliance systems.Actively seek to improve compliance processes and procedures.Providing support and input into Compliance projects that may arise.The PersonThe ideal candidate will have/be:
