Morgan Mc Kinley are working with a leading manufacturing company in Galway city who are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
This role will support financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance, while providing insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconciliations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.
Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial guidance and reporting.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience in a manufacturing environment advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication.
