You'll play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, safety, and performance — supporting Ireland's transition to a low-carbon future.About the RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role combining people management, technical excellence and problem-solving across complex electrical and control systems.ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate and develop a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation team.Plan, schedule and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across HV/MV/LV systems, control networks, and instrumentation equipment.Supervise contractors and manage key component procurement.Troubleshoot, test and repair electrical systems to maintain uptime and compliance.Qualifications5+ years' experience in power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial environments.Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification (FÁS / SOLAS) or equivalent.Required SkillsStrong understanding of HV/MV/LV electrical systems, control and instrumentation equipment.Proven track record in electrical fault finding and maintenance planning.Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.Strong safety focus and flexibility for occasional callouts or shift work.Full Category B Driving Licence.Preferred SkillsIdeal for an experienced electrician or E&I technician looking to step into leadership, or an existing team leader seeking a broader technical challenge within power generation.Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary:€57,750–€67,950depending on experience.
