The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government.

Role Summary
The NTMA Finance function provides a range of financial and transaction support services to all business areas within the NTMA.
NTMA Finance is now recruiting aFinance Manager to work within the financial reporting team in NTMA Finance, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager - Reporting.
Principal Accountabilities
The primary responsibilities of the role are outlined below:
Production of high quality annual financial statements for the NTMA and related entities in accordance with FRS 102 in line with year-end deadlines.
Preparation and review of regulatory and other reporting to external bodies including the Central Statistics Office, Department of Finance, Central bank of Ireland
Provide financial information and analysis to support internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain strong internal controls over reporting processes, including monthly control meetings and remediation tracking.
Leadership and development of 2 members of the wider financial reporting team, including performance management for these direct reports
Act as key point of contact for internal and external auditors.
Drives continuous process improvements within the financial reporting team and leads/participates in key finance and corporate projects as required.
Assist with the preparation and reporting of responses to relevant parliamentary questions and Freedom of Information requests.
Ad hoc reporting and other associated duties as required.
Experience
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with six years post qualification experience.
Experience in managing others
Extensive financial reporting experience gained in a financial reporting role.

An ability to initiate change and be adaptive to changing circumstances.
Knowledge
Detailed knowledge of FRS 102
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in other Microsoft packages
Pension Abatement
If an appointee has previously been employed in the Civil or Public Service and that appointee is entitled to or in receipt of a pension from the Civil or Public Service or where a Civil/Public Service pension comes into payment during the appointee's re-employment that pension will be subject to abatement in accordance with Section 52 of the Public Service Pensions (Single Scheme and other Provisions) Act 2012.
