Job Description
As a Sales Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building relationships with stores. Your primary responsibility will be to create and develop strategies to increase sales within convenience channels.
You will work closely with the team to generate extra space for our products and clients by increasing core range distribution. Additionally, you will present and detail the benefits of stocking our products to retailers and merchandise all client SKUs while replenishing stock on shelf.
Key responsibilities include:
* Indirect selling and merchandising in the Convenience channel
* Generating extra space for the brand and clients products by increasing core range distribution
* Presentation and detailing the benefits to retailers of stocking the clients products
* Maintenance of client SKU's and replenishing stock on shelf
* Building display units and feature displays
* Completion of full journey plan on a weekly basis
* Placement of FSUs and Point of Sale to drive incremental sales
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent verbal communication and personal organizational skills. Additionally, you should have a proven record of hitting and exceeding both sales and merchandising KPIs. Strong business acumen and the ability to overcome objections are essential.
Experience in increasing core range distribution is highly desirable. You should also have a solid understanding of category planning and planograms.
