Post Summary: Reporting directly to the Director of Knowledge Exchange and working closely with the Chief Innovation & Enterprise Officer (CIEO) and the Dean of Research, the Knowledge Security Manager has full responsibility for delivering a range of initiatives to ensure safeguarding sensitive research, intellectual property, and strategic data through ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation and regulations in this regard. The Knowledge Security Manger will play a senior-level role in developing and implementing University-wide policies to mitigate risk, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance with international security standards, and embed a culture of knowledge security across Trinity College Dublin's academic and research activities.
This role requires extensive and specialist knowledge of compliance matters, such as export control, data protection, and international research security regulations. It also demands an in-depth understanding of academic research frameworks, institutional risk, and policy development.
Post status: Permanent Contract
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-6), Salary Scale (€70,240 - €111,219 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. )
