This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the order book, allocating orders for picking and planning loads to ensure efficient use of vehicles and space.
2. Coordinate with suppliers and clients to guarantee timely and accurate shipments.
3. Maintain up-to-date records and metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
4. Foster a positive team culture, motivating and developing colleagues to achieve their full potential.
5. Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant experience in a similar role.
* A strong educational background, ideally Leaving Certificate standard or higher.
* Proficiency in using SAP and other logistics management systems.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
