The Role
A vacancy has arisen in Presidio for a Warehouse Operative. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods within a busy warehouse environment. This role involves physical tasks and the ability to work as part of a team to meet targets and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Goods receipt & Put-away
* Order Picking and Packing
* Stock Control-Cycle Counting
* Shipping (Air, Road, Courier, International)
* Returns processing
* General Up Keep of Warehouse
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
* Liaise with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations
Required Skills and Professional Experience
* Strong working knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations and management
* Assertive, flexible and open to change with a ‘Can-Do’ attitude (ability to ensure controls and procedures are followed)
* Excellent leadship skills and the ability to delegate
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Problem solving skills
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail
