Exceptional Project Planner required to join RINA’s Energy capability in Ireland, accountable for scheduling and optimising resource and task allocation within a highly complex Programme. You will be a key support in the design and development of a critical Infrastructure Programme, which will deliver downstream energy to Ireland.
This role will be based in Cork, Ireland. 2year Fixed Term Contract
Responsibilities will include:
* Project Scheduling: identify and analyses the critical path, determining the sequence of activities that impact the project timeline;
* Risk mitigation: conduct variance and scheduling analysis to compare planned versus actual progress and recommend corrective actions;
* Communicate project schedules to internal and external stakeholders;
* Develop resource scheduling plans;
* Anticipate project delays and develop mitigation plans to resolve issues.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Between 3-7 years' Project Planning experience;
* No sector specialism required, but an interest in Energy and/or Engineering would be desirable;
* Understanding of managing Project risks;
* Demonstrable experience of resolving project issues;
* Experience of creating and managing detailed project schedules using scheduling software, such as Oracle Primavera P6;
* Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and have demonstrable ability to present project updates with clarity and confidence;
* To succeed you will be responsive, concise, resilient and able to adapt;
* Must live within commutable distance of Cork; we are unable to support with relocation costs;
* Must be an Irish citizen, or have right to work in a permanent position. We are unable to sponsor work visa for this position.
