Financial Controller Position
This is a key role within our finance team, requiring a highly skilled professional to manage accounting functions and lead a small finance team.
* Manage the day-to-day accounting and oversee a team of accountants
* Be involved in and control financial processes
* Weekly and monthly forecasting and budgeting
* Conduct financial analysis and create reports
* Prepare profit and loss accounts and balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
* Prepare annual accounts and liaise with auditors as required
* Control costs and payroll in line with established targets
Requirements and Skills
The ideal candidate will possess industry experience, strong analytical and numerical skills, and high-level competence in Microsoft Excel and other office packages.
* A Financial Controller or Assistant Financial Controller from the hospitality industry, looking to progress their career
* Industry experience essential for this role
* Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
* Strong organisational and time management skills
