We are currently seeking a highly‑motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in Cork Childrens Services, Curraheen, Cork.
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: Full‑time
Salary Scale: €59,662 to 70,624 pro rata per annum
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post
Enable Ireland delivers children’s services through the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability. The post holder will provide a range of physiotherapist services for young people (0‑18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service development. This will be delivered through a family‑centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, children’s homes, and community settings.
Essential Criteria
 * Registered or eligible for registration on the Physiotherapists Register with CORU.
 * At least three years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist.
 * Demonstrated competence to discharge the duties of the role with a high standard of professional ability.
 * Maintains annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register at CORU.
 * Provides annual registration confirmation to Enable Ireland.
 * Full clean driver’s licence.
Desirable Criteria
 * Clinical experience working with children and families as part of an interdisciplinary team.
 * Postgraduate experience and training specific to children with disabilities (e.g., postural management, neuro‑developmental approaches).
 * Experience with hydrotherapy.
 * Experience identifying secondary impairments associated with complex disability or physical disability.
 * Experience providing clinical supervision to junior physiotherapists or students.
 * Access to own transport.
