About the Company
Our client is an innovative technology organisation building modern, cloud-driven software solutions for global customers. They are expanding their engineering team in Cork as they embark on several new product initiatives.
The Role
We're seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join a growing cloud engineering team and contribute to the design and delivery of high-availability, scalable applications. You'll play a key role in driving clean, maintainable code practices and shaping the architecture of new features.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop backend services and APIs using .NET/C#
2. Build and deploy cloud-native features across AWS and Azure
3. Contribute to solution design, architecture and technical direction
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, DevOps and QA
5. Ensure best practices around testing, performance and reliability
6. Work within an agile environment delivering iterative product improvements
Skills & Experience
7. Strong commercial experience with .NET / C#
8. Hands-on exposure to AWS and/or Azure
9. Experience with REST APIs, microservices or distributed systems
10. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tooling
11. Solid knowledge of software engineering patterns and clean coding principles
12. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Nice-to-Have
13. Docker or containerisation experience
14. Knowledge of event-driven or message-based architectures
15. Background in SaaS or product-focused engineering teams
