Kelly FSP, on behalf of top medical devices company, is looking for a Senior R&D Engineer for New Product Development (NDP) in the neurovascular area. We are seeking a proactive and experienced professional to lead critical projects in the medical devices industry.

The team is currently working on a new catheter technology project, progressing through the final stages of prototype and lab testing. The next key milestones include:
* Building lab documentation
* Design Freeze Review
* Design Verification Phase
* High-volume product builds and testing, with outputs feeding into regulatory submissions
* Process Validation and Design Transfer into Production
Requirements:
* Honours degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in all stages of medical device design and development (including design with SolidWorks, product lifecycle data management systems, prototyping, and testing) is required.
* Catheters experience.
* Strong design and technical ability based on a broad and deep knowledge of fundamental engineering principles.
* MD testing and report writing experience.
* Data review and statistical methods skills (Minitab).
* Strong work ethic, creative problem solving, capable of working on own initiative.
* Excellent writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills essential.
