In this role, you will be instrumental in the design and development of effective process systems that meet client specifications and industry standards. As a Process Design Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to create detailed process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and process calculations. Create and modify process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other design documents. Conduct process simulations and calculations to optimize design parameters and ensure functionality. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess design feasibility and integrate engineering solutions. Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports related to process designs. Contribute to design reviews and provide feedback to enhance project outcomes. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform design decisions. Ensure all designs and processes comply with safety regulations and quality assurance standards. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Process Design Engineer or in a similar engineering role. Strong understanding of process design principles and experience with design software tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple design projects. Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with advancements in process engineering. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within the process engineering discipline.
