We are looking for a highly motivated and curious Senior BI Manager to lead and evolve our business intelligence and analytics capability, and help shape how data informs decisions across the organisation.
At Meili we build technology that enables car rental companies to integrate seamlessly and partner directly with airlines & travel brands, delivering a friction free user experience.
Founded by a team with extensive travel tech experience, we’ve already partnered with 25+ global brands including LATAM, SAS, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Accor Hotels, and FREENOW, and we’re committed to rewriting the rules of ancillary distribution.
About The Role
This role combines business intelligence, advanced analytics and strategic insight generation. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, developing predictive models, and delivering high‑quality reporting that supports both operational performance and commercial growth.
You will play a key role in building a scalable analytics capability, enabling teams across the organisation to access reliable insights through dashboards, models, and self‑service analytics tools. The role will also involve leveraging AI and emerging analytics technologies to identify patterns, detect behavioural changes, and proactively alert the business to emerging opportunities or risks.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership

This role will have one direct report (Data Analyst) and will be responsible for guiding, mentoring and developing the analytics capability within the team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights to the business

Analytics & Business Intelligence Leadership

Lead the development and evolution of Meili's analytics and business intelligence capability
Oversee the design, delivery, and maintenance of internal and external dashboards
Standardise and enhance reporting frameworks to ensure a scalable approach to performance monitoring
Support the implementation of a self‑service analytics strategy across the organisation

Advanced Analytics & Business Insight

Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and behavioural insights
Apply statistical techniques to evaluate performance across customer segments and products
Translate complex datasets into clear narratives that support decision making

Commercial Modelling & Forecasting

Develop analytical models to support forecasting, planning, and operational decision making
Support commercial initiatives such as RFP processes by producing volume forecasts and demand modelling
Translate analytical outputs into clear commercial recommendations

Predictive Analytics & AI Enablement

Champion the integration of AI and advanced analytics tools across the organisation
Develop predictive models and monitoring frameworks that identify behavioural trends and anomalies
Evaluate emerging analytics technologies that enhance the organisation’s ability to generate insights

Data Governance & Analytics Infrastructure

Ensure the reliability and governance of analytics data sources
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data pipelines and data availability
Maintain documentation and best practices across analytics workflows

Stakeholder Collaboration

Engage with stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical solutions
Provide updates on analytics initiatives and insights across the organisation
Partner with leadership to define analytics priorities aligned with company strategy

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data science roles.
Proficiency with SQL, Excel, Python, or R.
Experience using data visualisation tools such as Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau.
Experience translating analytical findings into clear business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven ability to build predictive models or advanced analytical frameworks
Familiarity with modern data platforms or cloud data environments (e.g. "AWS, Redshift, S3")
Experience developing data pipelines (e.g. DBT or similar tools)
Understanding of cloud-based data infrastructure and storage systems
Exposure to advanced analytics techniques, such as anomaly detection or AI-driven insight generation
