About The Opportunity
This is not a generic mid-level role. The team is led by a Chambers Europe Band 2 ranked Head of Corporate (14 consecutive years ranked) who runs some of the most complex, big-ticket mandates in the Irish market — and you will work directly alongside him on the deals that define the practice.
The Role
You will sit in the heart of one of Dublin's busiest corporate practices, leading and supporting on a high-quality cross-border deal flow on behalf of Irish and international clients. Expected work-streams include:
Domestic and cross-border M&A — strategic and PE-backed
Take-private transactions
Private equity and venture capital investments
Public and private fundraisings, listings and equity issuances
Joint ventures, carve-outs and disposals
Restructuring and corporate advisory mandates
Recent and representative work in the practice includes mandates for an Irish infrastructure fund on the disposal of a portfolio of Irish assets, advice to a global infrastructure investor on multi-asset sales, and headline cloud and financial services M&A. Sector focus skews toward financial services, infrastructure, life sciences and healthcare, technology, and professional services.
YOU
Qualified Solicitor with 4–7 PQE in corporate / M&A, gained in a top-tier Irish or international firm
Demonstrable experience leading work-streams on M&A, PE or capital markets transactions
Comfortable with cross-border deals and direct client contact
Commercial, ambitious and entrepreneurial — you want to build a book, not coast on someone else's
Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills
