We are currently seeking a Purchasing Leader to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will support operational efficiency and quality in engineering output and oversee procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
About the Role
* You will coordinate with suppliers, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations, aligning purchasing activities with project and company goals.
* You will work closely with the Project Manager to define and implement the divisional purchasing strategy, driving business results through effective procurement practices.
* Key responsibilities include coordination of purchasing at company level, supporting the development of group-wide and division-wide Material Group Management, and ensuring the availability of materials.
Requirements and Qualifications
* A minimum of 5+ years' experience in procurement management is required.
* You should have a sound knowledge of procurement strategies, educated to degree level or hold relevant qualifications coupled with extensive experience.
