Key Responsibilities


Project Planning

* Develop and implement detailed project plans to meet timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.


Stakeholder Coordination

* Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.


Health & Safety Compliance

* Enforce strict compliance with health and safety regulations through regular site inspections and audits.


Quality Assurance

* Oversee quality control measures, conducting routine inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.


Team Leadership

* Manage and motivate a diverse construction team, fostering collaboration and productivity.


Cost Management

* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.


Communication

* Maintain open communication with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing challenges effectively.


Reporting

* Prepare and submit detailed project reports that highlight key milestones, challenges, and resolutions.


Requirements


Education

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.


Experience

* Proven experience as a Construction Manager, with expertise in structural steel or main contractor projects.


Knowledge

* Comprehensive understanding of construction management processes, industry standards, and Irish regulations.


Skills

* Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate teams.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
