Job Overview

As a New Business Director at Johnson Hana, you will be responsible for driving €2M+ in annual revenue through the acquisition of new business. This senior-level, individual contributor role involves owning the full sales process, from generating leads to negotiating and closing contracts, with a focus on senior legal decision-makers. You will position Johnson Hana as the go-to solution for solving complex legal challenges, driving growth through outbound efforts, relationship-building, and inbound inquiries.


Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive outbound sales strategy targeting senior legal executives, including General Counsels and Heads of Legal, to generate €2M+ in new business annually.
2. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and extended decision timelines.
3. Own the entire sales process from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring seamless handoff to internal teams upon contract signing.
4. Lead impactful meetings and presentations, positioning Johnson Hana’s solutions as essential for legal problem-solving.
5. Manage inbound and outbound sales channels to nurture and convert leads into new clients.
6. Maintain a deep understanding of the legal sector, including industry trends, competitors, and emerging needs.
7. Prepare proposals, lead negotiations, and ensure contracts are signed, aiming for your €2M revenue target.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to meet client expectations post-contract and position Johnson Hana’s solutions effectively.
9. Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and report progress regularly to senior leadership.


Candidate Profile

1. Over 10 years of sales experience with a proven record of closing complex, high-value deals in legal or professional services sectors.
2. Ability to engage senior legal executives and manage relationships at the highest levels.
3. Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers.
4. Track record of owning the full sales cycle, including negotiating and closing large deals independently.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a consultative approach.
6. Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools.
