Position Overview
The Senior Project Planner / Scheduler will play a key role in the successful delivery of capital projects by providing leadership in project planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting. This position ensures that all activities are effectively planned, resourced, and aligned with overall project objectives, supporting both operational readiness and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement robust planning, reporting, and analytical tools to support the Capital Projects organization.
* Lead and facilitate weekly planning and scheduling meetings to drive alignment and accountability.
* Monitor and report project progress, ensuring accurate tracking of plan versus actual performance.
* Maintain full compliance with all cGxP and site quality standards, ensuring continuous inspection readiness.
* Translate strategic goals into executable work plans and clear deliverables for technical teams.
* Utilize CMMS systems to organize and group work orders into structured, executable packages.
* Manage resource leveling and workload balancing to optimize productivity and efficiency.
* Identify scheduling risks, constraints, and deviations—proactively propose mitigation strategies.
* Develop high‑level summaries and detailed schedules tailored to various audiences and stakeholders.
* Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs relevant to project performance and planning functions.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and other departments to coordinate planning and handover activities.
* Lead schedule workshops and scenario planning sessions to support informed decision‑making.
* Produce and maintain micro‑schedules or milestone timelines for focused project deliverables.
* Champion PSC Biotech’s values of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement—sharing knowledge and supporting the broader team.
* Maintain Safe, Clean, and Compliant (SCC) standards across all work areas.
* Stay current with all applicable SOPs, policies, and training requirements.
* Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
* Minimum 10+ years of experience in project planning or scheduling roles within a GMP or regulated industry.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Hands‑on experience with Oracle Primavera scheduling software.
* Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional projects in fast‑paced, high‑compliance environments.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead by example and collaborate effectively across teams.
