PwC Ireland's Tax Technology & Transformation team is part of Ireland's leading Tax practice.
We are a dynamic partner-led team with diverse backgrounds in Tax, Finance and IT.
Our team works with market leading clients to advise them on and design and implement the right technology solutions for tax, helping them handle tax risks, improve efficiency and leverage new opportunities.
What We Do
We support organisations with all aspects of tax technology across all tax heads, including:
The development of long-term tax function technology strategies and alignment with wider business operating models.
The design, build and implementation of tax solutions using artificial intelligence, robotics, data extraction, transformation and analytics.
The implementation of market-leading tax compliance and reporting solutions, tax workflow management and SaaS solutions.
The optimisation of core ERP systems to support delivery of data fit for purpose in tax processes.
Responsibilities
Lead go-to-market business development initiatives while researching and integrating best-in-class emerging technologies.
Interpret and document clients' tax and business requirements to support future-state system design ambitions and appropriate mix of tax technology solutions.
Lead project delivery teams in designing, building and integrating tax technology-enabled solutions for clients.
Build strong relationships and work across key client stakeholder groups (transfer pricing, corporate tax, indirect tax, finance, IT, etc.) and with PwC specialists internally and across PwC's global network.
Motivate the team to perform at their best, deliver results, and provide mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in tax or tax technology consultancy, with at least 3 years of managerial experience.
Consistent track record in leading, designing and implementing best-in-class tax technology solutions.
Considerable experience with tax-related solutions in ERP systems and/or tax engines (SAP, Oracle, MSFT Dynamics, OneSource, Vertex or others).
Certification or extensive experience in agile technology and analytic solutions (MS VBA, SQL, MS Power Apps, Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath).
Deep technical and project-management capabilities from delivering large and sophisticated tax transformation projects.
Experience with a Big 4 firm, large ERP/consulting organisation or multinational company with tax-related experience.
Strong academic record (ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification).
Innovative and bold in developing business opportunities to generate growth within the tax technology and transformation offering.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership and commitment to developing yourself, team members, clients and business.
