As a Linesman, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power lines and related equipment.
Your role is crucial in ensuring the safe and reliable distribution of electricity to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical power lines in compliance with industry standards.
Perform inspections and troubleshoot electrical faults on power lines and equipment.
Utilize appropriate tools and equipment safely to complete tasks efficiently.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to minimize risks on job sites.
Collaborate with electrical engineers and other team members to ensure project completion.
Operate vehicles and equipment such as bucket trucks and cranes safely and effectively.
Document work performed and report any issues or concerns promptly.
Respond to emergency outages and perform repairs as required in a timely manner.
Requirements Relevant certification or qualification as a Linesman or Power Line Technician.
Proven experience working as a Linesman or in a similar electrical utility role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety protocols, and power line installation techniques.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites as required.
