Facilities Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a key player in our aircraft maintenance operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Aircraft Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft to identify mechanical problems or damage, and perform repairs and replacements as needed.
* Maintenance and Servicing: Refuel and service aircraft with necessary fluids and oils, and run regular diagnostic tests to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshooting and Repair: Trouleshoot and repair aircraft systems, and replace malfunctioning parts as required.
* Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain engines, and perform other tasks as necessary to ensure our facilities are well-maintained.
* Reporting and Communication: Communicate effectively with management and other team members to report any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
* A trade qualification or mechanical engineering diploma/degree in an engineering discipline is required.
* Prior experience working in a maintenance position, particularly with heavy machinery, is essential.
* Experience working in the aviation industry or similar sectors is highly desirable.
* An electrical background is advantageous but not necessary.
* A valid driving license is required.
