An established hospitality group is seeking a commercially focused General Manager to lead a large, full-service hotel operation. This senior role suits an experienced hotel leader with a strong background in high-volume trading, corporate business, and meetings & events.
The Role
Reporting to a senior leadership team, the General Manager will have full responsibility for the hotel’s operational and financial performance, including:
Driving revenue growth through effective pricing, demand management, and cost control.
Leading a multi-department operation across accommodation, food & beverage, leisure, and events.
Maximising performance from substantial conference and banqueting facilities.
Developing a high-performing management team and maintaining strong colleague engagement.
Ensuring consistent delivery of service and operational standards.
Supporting wider regional and group performance objectives.
Candidate Profile
Proven General Manager experience in a full-service, four-star (or equivalent) hotel.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
Confident leader with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Comfortable using hospitality systems and performance data.
Professional, inclusive leadership style with strong stakeholder management skills.
