We are hiring for our client, a leading employer based in Sligo, who are seeking to appoint an ambitious Internal Auditor to join their established finance function.

The Role:
As Internal Auditor, you will:
Plan and deliver risk-based internal audit assignments
Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement
Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior management
Partner with stakeholders across finance and operational teams
Monitor implementation of agreed audit recommendations
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business
Assist with compliance and governance reporting requirements
This role offers broad exposure across multiple departments, giving the Internal Auditor a strong understanding of the overall business operations.
The Person:
Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Trained within practice or with audit-focused experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
Proactive, organised and commercially aware
Keen to build a long-term career within industry
