Salary:€45,000 - €65,000 depending on experience
At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to work on various sites based in the Munster area.This is a great opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Officer with experience in the Irish construction industry to make an impact in an innovative and growing organisation within the roofing and cladding industry.
What’s on Offer:
* Up to €75,000 depending on experience

Your new role includes:
* Maintaining company policies and procedures with a view to continually monitor legislative updates and best practice guidelines.
* Advising and assisting the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager in the assessment of staff safety development and training needs.
* Assisting in company health and safety audits and attending meetings when required.
* Preparation of method statements, risk assessments, update safety statement
* Monitoring and contributing to company policies.
Experience you need:
* Qualification in Health and Safety is essential.
* Minimum 1 year of experience on construction sites in the Irish industry.
* Knowledge and experience in H&S Legislation, H&S Procedures in particular
* Team-player with a positive attitude and highly developed interpersonal communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence personnel at all levels within an organisation.
* Full driver's license is essential
