Our client is recognised as one of the leading High Voltage and Medium Voltage engineering services companies in Ireland, delivering world-class solutions. They offer electrical design, installation, inspection, commissioning, and maintenance services for bespoke and full turnkey projects.
The Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead HV/MV electrical projects from planning to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Reporting to senior management, this role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, client and supplier relationships, and all aspects of project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and deliver HV/MV electrical projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
* Develop project strategies, schedules, and risk management plans.
* Manage budgets, resources, and contracts, ensuring financial performance.
* Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and client requirements.
* Provide technical support across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
* Monitor project progress, KPIs, and deliverables; report to senior management.
* Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and adherence to ISO and SHEQ policies.
The Person:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
* 10+ years' experience managing HV/MV electrical projects.
* Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and ESB regulations.
* Experience with substations, transmission, and distribution projects.
* Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
* HV experience preferred but not essential.
* Safepass and full driving licence; professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, CEng) advantageous.
