Job Title: Electrical Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to join our team in the Leinster region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and control systems, particularly in water or wastewater treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation of electrical control systems for water and wastewater infrastructure.
* Testing and commissioning of these electrical control systems to ensure they function correctly.
* Maintenance of electrical systems within the service division, including preventative and reactive maintenance.
* Design and supervision work on water, wastewater pumping and treatment installations with instrumentation and controls.
* Assistance as electrical supervisor on large projects where additional support is required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in the water or wastewater treatment industry or contracting, post-apprenticeship.
* Pumps, instrumentation, automation, and SCADA knowledge.
* Good understanding of electrical control systems and fault finding.
* Experience working with pumps, motors, chemical dosing equipment, control panels, instruments.
* Working knowledge of PLCs and general automation.
