PE Global Healthcare are delighted to assist their client to recruit health care assistants for Corofin in Co Clare. The client is an adult with complex medical needs. Permanent full- and part-time positions available.
About the role
* 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 9am-9pm)
* Service User: Quadriplegic with a spinal injury
* Requires a motorized wheelchair, hoist for all transfers, and supra-pubic catheter
* Driving license preferred – it is a rural location
* Supporting a neurogenic care nurse with the assisted living needs of the client
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
* QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare or a relevant field (Full award)
* Experience of working with adults with complex medical care needs
* Full manual driving licence and access to your own transport.
* A degree of flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team.
* A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and helping them maximise their quality of life.
