Regional Sales Engineer Ireland (Nationwide)
Main Function and Responsible Area / Goal of the task:
* Increase sales volume for standard and special
cutting tools
in assigned areas and other areas upon request.(Ireland, North Ireland and UK)
* Review customer's application and suggest best solutions.
* Increase awareness about Tool brand and market penetration.
To achieve targets / strategic objectives
Main tasks / Responsibilities
* Increase sales in the assigned areas
* Keep excellent relations with Customers and Distributers
* Strengthen sales organization in the assigned areas
* Cultivate high level of awareness and technical knowledge of our Tool products
* Introduce new products – find new applications and markets at existing clients and at new ones
* Work closely with internal technical team and support it
* Visits to customers, Distributors and trade shows
* Visits to our Tool facilities in CH/ DE
* Support marketing activities in cooperation with the headquarter in Switzerland
* Support our existing clients in technical issues and new projects
* Promote and sell Standard and Special Tools
* Visit periodically Customers and Distributors
* Find and select local new clients according to company growing strategy and under consultation with your supervisor.
* Train Distributors, organization of training seminars
* Provide overall Technical Advice to all Customers and distributors
* Find new Customers in the assigned areas
* Quote Special and Standard Tools
* Close orders (new accounts), acquire and negotiate blanket orders for existing accounts
* Interface with our Tools for technical questions and problem solving
* Use for all sales and customer related activities as travel planning and customer visits our CRM system
* Apply correctly the standardized administration processes and instructions as for test tools, shipping, customer complaints, etc.

* More years of experience in cutting tool technology and applications
* Expert knowledge in:
* Metallurgy, metal alloys and carbide
* Machining processes in drilling, milling and tapping
* Able to read technical drawings and to sketch ideas and concepts
* College education, emphasis on mechanical engineering
* Systematic and analytical thinking
* Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Excellent communication skills to present company, products and technology
* English mother tongue, other languages is a plus
* Work independently
