We're hiring a part-time BookTok Content Assistant to create TikTok content focused on the books of New York Times bestselling romance author Laurelin Paige.
This role is for someone who already loves BookTok and understands how romance books are shared, discussed, and sold on TikTok — tropes, aesthetics, emotional hooks, and trend-based content.
This is an ongoing PAYE position.
What you'll be doing
* Creating and posting BookTok-style TikTok videos featuring Laurelin Paige's books
* Following BookTok trends and adapting them to specific titles, tropes, and story vibes
* Filming casual, authentic short-form video content (phone-based is perfect)
* Using common BookTok formats: tropes, quotes, aesthetics, reactions, trends
* Light engagement with comments
* Suggesting content ideas based on what's trending on BookTok
What we're looking for
* Active TikTok user with a strong understanding of BookTok
* Comfortable appearing on camera (or willing to learn)
* Familiar with romance tropes and reader-focused marketing
* Reliable and able to work independently
* Eligible to work in Ireland
No formal qualifications required.
Nice to have (but not required)
* A personal BookTok or TikTok account
* Experience promoting books, authors, or creative brands
* Basic video editing (TikTok editor, CapCut, etc.)
* Familiarity with Laurelin Paige's books (or willingness to read)
