The Role:
Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) is seeking a Circular Economy L&D Specialist on a 23-month contract basis. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, passionate person who wants to join our Learning and Development team to deliver circular economy learning solutions to the Irish Manufacturing industry that push the boundaries and provide high quality experiential learning events in new and emerging technologies.
As the Circular Economy L&D Specialist you will design, develop, deliver and evaluate cross-sectoral training solutions. Acting as a boundary spanner, you will be embedded in and work in close collaboration with technical experts in IMR's multi-disciplinary Circular Economy Innovation team. The role requires development of content for virtual classroom, in-person courses / workshops, master classes and online content.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver engaging virtual and in-person content using cutting edge technologies and methodologies to be delivered to cross-sectoral manufacturing and enterprise in Ireland and Europe.
* Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify training requirements and skill gaps.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
* Create assessment and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training solutions.
* Provide input to technical teams on best practices in content development and delivery including the use of learning technologies and adult learning principles.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, incorporating feedback and staying agile in response to evolving industry trends related to circular economy, sustainability and systems thinking.
Required
Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree or qualification in Learning & Development or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in content development and delivery.
* Knowledge of adult learning principles and content delivery best practices.
* Knowledge of Articulate RISE or other eLearning software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to work independently and using own initiative.
* Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent PC Skills (Word, Excel, Power point etc.).
* Knowledge and expertise in creating content for circular economy or sustainability, would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of manufacturing and advanced technologies or similar technical fields, would be an advantage.
Location:
IMR offices are located in Rathcoole, Co Dublin and Mullingar, Co Westmeath. This position will be based in either our Rathcoole or Mullingar office. We offer a hybrid working model. Travel between offices and client sites will be required from time to time.
Salary & Benefits:
This position will command a basic salary of €65,889 (Technologist level), depending on qualifications and experience. Appointment at Senior Researcher level €55,835 - €59,063 may apply where Technologist criteria are not fully met. The package also consists of employer pension contribution and 5 weeks holidays.
