A Semi Senior Auditor is sought for a small, dynamic accountancy practice in Dublin West. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience of working in an accountancy practice and possess strong technical and interpersonal skills. The role involves the production of audits from planning to completion and building client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression within a supportive environment.
Requirements
* Lead audit in accordance with generally accepted audit principles applicable to mainly small or medium sized companies.
* Preparation of, or supervision and review in relation to the preparation of financial statements.
* Management of the firm's relationship with clients including service delivery and co-ordination of service offerings from other departments
* Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.
* Preparation and Completion of audit/audit exempt financial statements
* Preparation of tax returns – primarily Corporation Tax/IXBRL for review
* Preparation of budgets and cash flow projections
* Dealing with miscellaneous inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue etc and also Revenue audits
* Preparation of Working Papers (paperless) & Financial Statements in accordance with relevant Procedures and Standards
* Investigate all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposal
* Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
* Carry out assignments in a timely, professional and efficient manner
* Achieve fee targets for assigned portfolio
* Prepare technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients
Qualifications & Experience:
* Part qualified accountant with at least 2 years' experience of working in a practice environment
* An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards
* Some tax experience desirable
* CCH Accounts Production
* Excel (Intermediate/Advanced preferable)
* Must have a full driver's licence and car

* Salary €35,000-€40,000
