We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Health and Safety Manager. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in health and safety management, particularly within the construction industry.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to provide guidance on EHS matters, and maintain accurate records. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Health and Safety Officer or equivalent is required, with a focus on the M&E sector.
The following are the key responsibilities associated with this role:
* EHS Guidance: Provide advice and support on all health, safety, and environmental matters.
* Policy Updates: Stay current with the latest policies and procedures related to health and safety.
* Collaboration: Communicate effectively with senior management and site teams to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
* Health and Safety Promotion: Maintain a proactive approach to promoting health and safety awareness on-site.
* Subcontractor Evaluation: Review and assess subcontractor documentation, certifications, and risk assessments.
* Method Statement Implementation: Develop and implement method statements and conduct regular assessments.
* Training Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and maintain training records.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience as an EHS Advisor within the construction sector.
* Prior experience working within the M&E Sector is highly desirable.
* iOSH/NEBOSH certification is a must.
* Ability to prepare thorough site audits and reports.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
