Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver the organisation's asset management strategy and maintain the asset register.
2. Manage voids and ensure turnaround processes are efficient.
3. Develop and monitor budgets for repairs, maintenance and investment programmes.
4. Lead procurement for property-related contracts, ensuring value for money.
5. Oversee contractor performance, insurance and H&S documentation.
6. Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Maintain risk assessments and address emerging risks effectively.
8. Manage delivery of large-scale works and sustainability initiatives.
9. Provide technical input on new schemes, life-cycle costs and property handovers.
10. Line manage property and facilities staff, setting objectives and coordinating workloads.
11. Support recruitment, training and development of team members.
12. Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

What We Are Looking For

13. Previously worked as a Property and Asset Manager, Asset Manager, Property Manager, Head of Asset Management, Estate Manager, Facilities Manager, Property Services Manager, Property Services Manager, Facilities & Asset Manager, Estate Services Manager, Property Maintenance Manager, Head of Property Services, Real Estate Asset Manager, Property & Facilities Manager or in a similar role.
14. At least 5 years' experience in asset management with 3 years in managerial role.
15. Experience managing repairs, maintenance programmes and major works projects.
16. Demonstrable understanding of procurement practices, health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
17. Strong planning, organisational and IT skills.
18. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
