The Role Support the senior corporate development lead in executing the organisation's acquisition and disposal strategy, including the following responsibilities: Assisting with the evaluation of acquisition opportunities across multiple geographies Conducting financial analysis and modelling for new investments, including scenario planning Performing strategic and market research to identify and assess potential acquisition opportunities in collaboration with senior leadership and divisional heads Supporting the preparation of board-level reports for acquisition opportunities Assisting with the preparation of post-acquisition reviews presented to senior executive management Managing acquisition-related costs and expenses in collaboration with the central finance team Supporting general corporate development initiatives and ad hoc projects Assisting in the coordination and management of external advisors on both buy-side and sell-side acquisition and disposal processes Competencies & Experience Required Newly qualified accountant with experience in transactions services Exposure to Corp Dev, M&A, Investment and Corporate finance is an advantage Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational and time management skills A collaborative team player capable of working across multiple functions and divisions
