We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Support Engineer with strong infrastructure and cloud expertise to support, maintain, and evolve our IT environments. This role goes beyond traditional support and includes on-prem to cloud migrations, server and virtualisation management, and automation through Infrastructure as Code and scripting.You will act as a technical escalation point while also contributing to infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as 3rd line escalation support for complex infrastructure and cloud-related issuesLead and support on-premises to cloud migrations (planning, execution, and post-migration support)Administer and support Windows/Linux servers (physical and virtual)Manage and support VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter)Design, deploy, and support Azure infrastructure (VMs, networking, storage, identity)Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM, or BicepAutomate infrastructure tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)Build, configure, and maintain virtual machines in both on-prem and cloud environmentsMonitor system performance, availability, and securityCollaborate with internal teams on infrastructure upgrades, optimisation, and resilienceCreate and maintain technical documentation and runbooksProvide mentoring and technical guidance to L1/L2 engineersKey Skills & ExperienceEssentialProven experience in a Level 3 / Senior Support / Infrastructure Engineer roleStrong experience with on-prem to cloud migrationsHands-on server administration (Windows and/or Linux)Solid experience with VMware virtualisationStrong Microsoft Azure experienceExperience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Scripting experience (PowerShell essential, Bash/Python beneficial)Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsDesirableAzure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.)Experience with backup, DR, and high availability solutionsKnowledge of networking concepts (firewalls, VPNs, DNS, routing)Experience working in ITIL-based support environmentsSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting
