Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced B2B Sales Specialist to join our team as a Business Developer in Northern Ireland, reporting to the Head of HoReCa. The role involves managing and expanding our customer base, developing market understanding, and building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage new and existing customer accounts to meet sales targets and KPIs, including proactive cold calling and monthly reporting.
* Develop understanding of the market to grow business through range expansion, training, and promotional activities.
* Create proposals and presentations for new business opportunities, maintaining excellent customer relationships.
* Report on territory performance, including sales updates and competitor activity, during monthly meetings.
* Ensure high customer satisfaction by managing inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating deliveries.
* Participate in training sessions, manage customer tasting events, and lead training and tasting sessions as needed.
* Maintain proficiency in reporting/CRM systems and perform other duties as delegated.
Candidate Requirements
* At least 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
* Understanding of the wine industry across all channels.
* WSET Level 2 or 3 certification in wine.
* Strong strategy for new business development and existing client growth.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficient in IT tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to build customer relationships.
* Full clean driving license.
