Title: International Move Coordinator Location: Dublin 15 Terms: Full-time permanent, office-based, normal office hours Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 (DOE) A well-established freight company, based in Dublin 15, is seeking a dynamic and proactive International Move Coordinator to join the team.
You will play a crucial role in managing the import and export of consignments, coordinating with Irish sub-contractors and international agents, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities & Duties: Efficiently manage the import and export processes of general cargo and personal effects consignment movements internationally via Air, Ocean, Rail and Road Freight.
Completion of Customs clearance and TORs.
Collaborate closely with local subcontractors and international agents to ensure smooth operations.
Organize and schedule on-site and remote surveys in coordination with clients and subcontractors.
Facilitate effective communication between site crews, drivers, and clients to deliver comprehensive service.
Handle inbound inquiries via telephone and email promptly and professionally.
Maintain seamless day-to-day operations, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Actively pursue new leads to expand our client base.
Provide regular progress updates to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum 1 years of multimodal operations experience in freight forwarding or international personal effects movements.
Experience of completing customs clearance declarations and TORs.
Experience working with large multinational clients.
Strong interpersonal aptitude, coupled with adept problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer operations, with a keen eye for accuracy.
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong IT skills i.e. FMS, MS Office etc.
