Key Responsibilities
Preparation of audit-exempt accounts to partner review stage
Preparation and submission of Annual Returns and Abridged Accounts to the CRO
Preparation of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, PAYE, VAT, and RCT returns
Payroll processing
Preparation and submission of other company secretarial returns
Managing your own portfolio of clients with strong communication and service delivery
The Person
Minimum 2 years' experience in a small to medium-sized accountancy practice
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ROS, and accounting software such as Relate, Surf, Sage, and Xero
Experience in statutory accounts and file preparation
Strong technical knowledge of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, PAYE, and RCT
Good working knowledge of VAT and cross-border transactions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
