Lead Data EngineerContract (12 months, Dublin, Hybrid)3 days per week on-siteUp to €600 (Daily Rate)We're looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join a global fintech organisation on a 12-month contract, with potential to extend.You'll design and deliver scalable data pipelines and cloud platforms that support analytics and financial crime detection within a modern Databricks + AWS environment.Key Responsibilities:Build and optimise Spark/PySpark pipelines (batch & streaming).Lead data architecture and governance across Databricks + AWS (S3, Glue, IAM, Lake Formation).Manage orchestration with Airflow and ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance.Mentor engineers and drive best practices in performance and scalability.About You:Expert in Databricks, AWS, and modern data lakehouse design.Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Spark, and CI/CD.Proven leadership in large-scale data projects.Clear communicator with a delivery-focused mindset.
