A leading global investment solutions provider is seeking to appoint a Transfer Agency Manager within its growing Private Markets / Alternatives business in Dublin.
The position has arisen following a significant new client mandate, resulting in the expansion of the firm’s Transfer Agency capabilities supporting complex private markets fund structures. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing and developing a team while overseeing the delivery of investor servicing across a portfolio of alternative investment funds.
The successful candidate will bring strong operational expertise across private markets investor activity - including capital calls, distributions, sub-closes and investor onboarding - alongside proven people management experience.
Professionals from Transfer Agency, Investor Services or Investor Relations backgrounds will be considered, as these functions often operate closely together within private markets structures.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a Transfer Agency team supporting private markets fund structures
Oversee the investor onboarding process, ensuring accounts are opened efficiently and accurately
Ensure investor queries and information requests are handled promptly and professionally
Maintain high standards of investor correspondence, reporting and payment processing
Review Limited Partnership Agreements and Offering Memoranda ahead of fund launches, identifying potential operational considerations
Work closely with Fund Accounting teams to ensure seamless operational delivery
Support senior management in the growth and strategic development of the Alternatives business
Contribute to client onboarding, operational design and sales pitches for new mandates
Build and maintain relationships with investment managers, investors, legal advisors, auditors and banking partners
Supervise, coach and mentor team members, supporting ongoing performance development and training
Organise and lead team meetings and contribute to performance reviews
Ensure adherence to service level standards and delivery deadlines
Drive continuous improvement in operational workflows and service models
Support internal projects and operational initiatives as required
Experience & Skills
8+ years’ experience within Transfer Agency, Investor Services or Investor Relations
At least 3 years’ experience supporting Private Markets / Alternatives structures
Strong understanding of capital calls, investor subscriptions, sub-closes, equalisation, distributions and waterfall calculations
Experience reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements and Offering Memoranda
Good understanding of AML requirements and investor due diligence processes
Experience with private markets systems (Investran desirable)
Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
Proven experience interacting with clients, investors and senior stakeholders
Third level qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
