Qualifications
Technical Skills and Expertise Required: Minimum of a third level STEM discipline degree (Level 8 NFQ or higher) ideally related to Digital Health, complemented with relevant further postgraduate education or research experience. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant programme management role.
Data Strategy and Management: Knowledge and experience in data strategy, data management, regulatory, compliance, and data governance. Familiarity with digital technologies and tools relevant to a research organisation's digital initiatives. These include on premises compute infrastructure, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
Digital Trends and Technologies: An understanding of digital trends and technologies relevant to the FutureNeuro strategic direction. Capability to identify opportunities for digital transformation and leverage digital tools and platforms effectively. Understanding of data security principles, including data encryption, access controls, and vulnerability management.
Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and people skills to engage with diverse stakeholders such as industrial partners, funding agencies, policy makers, and the public. Experience of dealing with Board members in a range of organisations. Excellent project management skills to oversee the implementation of data and digital initiatives. Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams, departments, and external organisations.
Analytical and Leadership Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess data assets, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. Strong leadership qualities to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and champion the organisational vision. Ability to deliver in a senior role and manage complex multi-stakeholder projects coupled with strong strategic management experience gained in a complex organisation.
