Job Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our operations team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are carried out safely, within programme and of the highest quality.
* Taking Ownership: Leading on projects from tender handover to final account
* Cost Management: Maintaining cost efficiency across operational teams
* Cashflow & Sales Forecasting: Analyzing cash flow and sales projections
* Monthly Payment Applications: Preparing monthly payment applications
* Cost/Value Reporting: Providing regular cost and value reports
* Contract Management: Assessing and raising sub-contract certificates
* Budget Management: Managing budgets, including procurement of sub-contractors and contract document preparation
* Contract Negotiation: Reviewing and negotiating contract/sub-contract terms and conditions
* Meetings and Communication: Attending internal and external meetings, promoting open communication
* Training and Development: Mentoring junior commercial and project delivery team members
* Collaboration: Liaising with other departments and performing additional duties as required
You will be based in our Cookstown office, with occasional site visits across the UK and Ireland.
