Location: Dublin
Get To Know Us: Our EMEA Change Delivery organisation is growing in line with business demand and is at the heart of SS&C Client Delivery & Organisational Transformation. We are recruiting within our EMEA Enterprise Analysis Practice for a Senior Business Analyst to lead and operate our Life & Pensions existing client change portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and shape the backlog of change, ensuring quality delivery and client delight.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is a self-starter; expert communicator and facilitator of discovery workshops; well experienced in all realms of Business Analysis tools and techniques; and an expert within the Life & Pensions sector. This role provides the right person with a real opportunity to help shape the future of change within the organisation and offers hybrid working with required travel to our Dublin SS&C office.
What You Will Get To Do
* Act as the initial conduit for all newly raised client change via our Client Relationship Managers (CRMs).
* Actively manage, refine and report on the backlog of change, ensuring business prioritisation decisions and escalations are fed into the relevant forums.
* Act as the contact point for all analysis related queries and proactively seek solutions.
* Lead the ideation of new requests, leading the discovery and due diligence analysis phases to ensure solid foundations are set.
* Lead the elicitation and documentation of business outcomes and stakeholder needs.
* Lead and facilitate meetings and workshops and confidently present findings to key stakeholders and clients.
* Work closely with and act as the conduit between design, architecture and delivery teams, maintaining focus on building client-centric solutions.
* Identify operational impacts and support operational readiness activities to ensure any change is embedded successfully.
* Provide outcome-based reporting via CR, client, team or delivery progress in the relevant format required.
* Lead and mentor other junior members of the team to support the growth of a high performing team.
* Continually share external and internal BA knowledge and experience to boost the evolution of the BA Practice and change processes.
What You Will Bring
Essential
* Extensive experience within the Life & Pensions industry, particularly in analysis, operational or client-facing roles leading discovery and delivery BA activities.
* General experience in analysis-based roles with appreciation for BA techniques and frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, etc.).
* Strong stakeholder management skills including client-facing experience, and collaboration across, the organization at all levels.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven champion of change and motivator of others.
* Self-motivated with the ability to lead and take ownership.
* Naturally curious with the desire to continually improve the status quo.
* Adaptability to respond to changing business demands and to guide others through change.
* Committed to high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement of the BA Practice and company goals.
Desired
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, IT or related area.
* Relevant BA qualifications (BCS, IIBA, ISEB, CBAP, etc.).
* Experience working with internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones.
